When you’re ready to get started, connect with an energy expert at LEAP to discuss your options or to confirm that the project you have in mind is eligible for the interest rate reduction program. Scope of work and/or contractor proposals are required for certain projects such as solar systems and roof and insulation upgrades before interest buy down approval.   2. Apply for your loan with the UVA Community Credit Union by contacting their Business Lending department at 434-964-2001. If you have a preferred lending institution, just let us know. We’re flexible. LEAP will work with your lender to get the paperwork necessary to buy down your rate at loan closing. Then the work begins!
